Latest Trinity Update - 30th July 2020

30 July 2020 05:03

From Jon and the Trinity Team

Trinity Church at Home has now officially come to an end and over 250 people met in 15 gatherings over 7 weeks. Thanks to all those who took part in a variety of ways!

Sadly, we are still unable to use the main church building because of dust, mess, insurance and scaffolding - we are really sorry about the inconvenience. The building work is progressing well and keeping to schedule but the plan for us to gather for worship under the scaffolding isn't possible. However, during August we will go on tour across the Island and worship will take place on Sundays as follows:

Sunday 2nd August
Trinity Worship in a Field - we are delighted to announce that our first larger church gathering will be in Mary's Field at Pleinmont! We were hoping to have a beach service but unfortunately we couldn't get the permissions so we will meet in a lovely field instead - click here for directions. It is the same field that we have used for Bonfire parties but this time we will be able to appreciate the views!

Coffee and pastries will be served from 10.30am and the worship service will start at 11ish. The service is suitable for all ages and will include chocolate and ice cream! Bring a cup for coffee and a blanket or chair to sit on. Why not bring a picnic and stay around for lunch with others after the service? The field is very big and great for kids to run around in - we will bring some outdoor games as well! There will also be a portaloo.

Sunday 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th August
Trinity Square and St Martin's
9am in Trinity Church Centre - a quieter, reflective service with hymns and liturgy - refreshments will be available after the service.

10.30am in St Martin's Community Centre with groups for children and youth - refreshments served before and after the service and parking is available.

6pm (note new time) in Trinity Church Centre - refreshments served before and after the service.

We look forward to welcoming you to any of our worship services during August!
